Shoal of Friends

The Friends of Hungerford Nursery School and Family Centre are known as the SHOAL OF FRIENDS.

The aims of the Shoal of Friends are to provide events and activities for the children, parents and teachers and to raise funds for specific projects in the Pre-Nursery, Nursery and Family Centre.  Shoal of Friends meets these 2 aims by ‘Having fun while Fundraising’.   We co-ordinates a range of social occasions throughout the school year to raise funds.  All funds raised will help improve the facilities within the whole Centre.

 

An elected committee co-ordinates the Shoal of Friends meetings and events.   Activities are open to all members.  (All staff, parents, carers of children within the Centre are automatically members of the Shoal of Friends).

 

Shoal of Friends relies on the support of volunteers and the more people that get involved, the more we can achieve (which benefits everybody!).  Every little helps, so your involvement can be big or small.
