The fundraising group of Hungerford Nursery School and Family Centre is known as the Shoal of Friends. We are a small group of parents, governors and staff who raise money for the Nursery  through various fundraising events throughout the school year.

Historically the name was chosen to link to the FISH philosophy that the Nursery adopts and promotes which is:

Choose Your Attitude – no matter what the day throws at you, you can choose how you respond.

Be There – when people need you, they need all of you. Be fully present.

Make Their Day – find simple ways to show people you value them.

Play – bring a spirit of enthusiasm, creativity and fun to work. You’ll accomplish more.
