At Hungerford Nursery School, our vision is to inspire every child to become a confident, capable and curious learner.  We are committed to providing a nurturing environment filled with joy, where early experiences lay the foundations for a lifetime of learning, well-being and success.

Our Values

Everything that we do at Hungerford Nursery School is underpinned by our values – BRICKS.

B - Belonging: We make sure everyone is welcomed, included and valued.

We teach all children about our values through stories, discussion and everyday experiences, at an age-appropriate level throughout the year.

To help bring our values to life in nursery school and beyond, we have developed a token system to recognise and celebrate our values in action. Each value has been assigned a colour, and each class has a token collector. Throughout the week, coloured tokens are added to the class collectors whenever we see or hear the values being demonstrated.

At the end of each week, classes add their tokens to the whole-school token collector. This allows children to see the tokens growing throughout the term and recognise the values that have been demonstrated and celebrated across our school community.
