Hungerford Nursery School was last inspected by Ofsted on 21st and 22nd April 2026. A copy of the inspection report can be found here.
This was our first inspection under Ofsted's new inspection framework. This new framework provides a more detailed evaluation of different aspects of a school's work rather than a single overall judgement. As a result, inspection outcomes under the new framework should not be directly compared with grades awarded under previous frameworks. In addition, the 'Expected' judgement represents a demanding standard, recognising schools that consistently meet Ofsted's high expectations across the areas inspected. The new framework is designed to provide parents and stakeholders with a clearer and more detailed picture of a school's performance.
