Our Values

‘EVERYONE MATTERS – BE THE BEST WE CAN BE’

We believe in:

  • Building Relationships: We believe in valuing everyone by building strong, trusting and respectful relationships. Children have staff who listen, create a sense of belonging, nurture, respect and teach them so that they have the knowledge and tools to be the best they can be. Parents have staff who are caring, knowledgeable professionals who work in partnership with them, sharing knowledge and giving support and encouragement so that as parents they can become the best they can be. We believe in listening to children, parents, staff, governors and the community by providing excellence in education and care of exceptional quality. Through listening we can provide provision that is the best it can be now and into the future.
  • Inspiring Learning: We believe in having high aspirations that encourage life-long learning and promoting and building on children’s natural curiosity. Our ambitious curriculum with clear curricular goals will foster language, curiosity, excitement, risk taking, positive attitudes, resilience, creativity and problem solving.  It will inspire children to connect with nature, the outdoors, and the wider world so that they have the best environment in which to learn and thrive.
  • Promoting Health and Well-being: We believe in building resilience, independence, and confidence, encouraging self-regulation and developing self-esteem. Growing knowledge of how to maintain a healthy and active lifestyle.
  • Sharing and Growing Knowledge and Skills: We believe in growing children's knowledge and skills through having highly knowledgeable, expert educators and leaders in the Early Years. Staff have personal and professional development through peer support, courses, professional reading, taking part in practitioner research, and can undertake apprenticeships or further qualifications to continue to become the best they can be.
